Hi everyone! I have an interview scheduled with Atlassian (Mountain View) for a software engineer role and I'm hoping anyone who may have been through the process there can help out with any tips. I've read that they mostly ask LC mediums & 1 system design question. I've also started reading up on their values. Recently, I read a lot of posts where the OP believes they've done well but ends up with a rejection. Anyone know what they look for and value most in candidates? Does the interview need to go absolutely flawlessly? What should I prioritize (in terms of values, LCs, sys design, etc.)? Appreciate any feedback, thank you in advance! It's usually not about solving questions. You need to show you can write good code with mental clarity all the while being mindful of the problem you are trying to solve. You also need anticipate and be critical in your thinking. If you are like this, it will show on the markers that are being evaluated. I will not tell you the exact markers. But this is what you strive to be.

Hey! I had an interview with the hiring manager yesterday and they got back to me today with the next steps. I still have the on-site remaining so haven't gotten the position yet. But I know mine went especially fast bc theyre really trying to fill up the positions asap. Have you reached out to the recruiter for updates?
I reached out last week (Friday) and I still havenβt received any info. I rather get a rejection than be ghosted, ghosted by men and now companies π! Anyhoo good luck to you and thanks for responding.
Hey OP, are you done with your onsite? Can I ping you for a quick question?
