Atlassian Interview.

I have a phone screen interview with Atlassian soon for Back-End Software Engineer position. I haven't done any design interviews in the past. Would appreciate any tips on how to prepare and what kind of questions are asked etc. YOE: 1.5

When did Atlasssian become popular? Never heard about this.

Many tech companies use their products. Jira, confluence, etc. I’d be surprised if a dev hasn’t used one of their products.

Ohh i see. Never used these products directly as we have equivalent internal tools. Didn’t know they were owned by Atlassian.

FYI you’re missing the TC bro I did one for full stack a couple of weeks ago. I would study the leetcode Atlassian questions. Interviewers were nice and prepared. The on-site is a bit different but Atlassian has guides / what to look for for your on-site (it’s on the company’s site. Just google for it). Read it. Be prepared for lots of behavioral questions. Have some professional scenarios and results to back it up. I found the STARs method helpful.

How is the onsite different?

Just more behavioral than I expected. Granted most fangs ignore the behavioral parts and just ask leetcode question. Needless to say the Atlassian interview was refreshing. Got to better understand the culture, work, etc
