Interviewed at Atlassian for a Sr Backend role and have a confirmation from the recruiter that they are working on an offer. The recruiter has asked me to share numbers. I am a Staff Engg in my current company. At the beginning of the interview loop, I was told that the levels will be decided based on the interviews. 75th percentile for P5 seems to be 275k. I also read that they don't hire P6 externally. What can I expect? Current TC: 290 this year. 310 next year. YoE: 11 PS: Left Macy's long back. No competing offers yet. Have a few onsites in the next few weeks. #atlassian #offer #bayarea
We do hire external p6.
Cool. I am being conservative here. Assuming that I get P5. What's a reasonable number to ask? Does Atlassian offer refreshers? I already have the benefits doc and the benefits look solid.
They might pay you around 300k max. Also $TEAM doesn’t have any major uptick left. Choose wisely. Job market is on 🔥 right now regardless of your location in the US
Lol
This comment of mine clearly didn’t age well, did it? 😂
