Hello ๐ Iโm an L5 and Google suddenly issued my annual bonus prior to performance review and it will roughly come out to 15% of my salary. Did everyone get 15% as well? This has been the lowest bonus for me. Is 15% now the baseline for everyone considering the financial circumstance of the company? Believe 15% is on target. With it going up in percentage as you get to l6+. Usually google paid out majority of employees with higher than target bonus. Today no idea given economic uncertainty
Google is giving out 80% of target bonus and rest of the adjustment happen after perf reviews. You should've received 80% of your target bonus and that too with approx 40% tax deduction.

Omg, why are people so clueless about these things. There has been tons of communication about it, even on blind. And the bonus letter literally has a link to a doc explaining this.
How are the G bonuses looking like this year?
Itโs not out yet. And itโs completely algorithmic. I doubt they are gonna apply a <1 global company multiplier.
15% as well (meaning currently it shows 12% of salary, or 80% of 15% of the salary). Previous years had been 20% for me and I wonder if it is a foreshadowing of an MI (I had a support check-in last November)
Prolly just a spot bonus, ask internal channel
