Austin sucks - moving back to LA

Bought a house in Austin and ended up moving back to LA. I couldn’t breathe some days because of the air, not even in my house. Spent two years here. Los Angeles is by far superior and SoCal in general. Here’s my top 8 reasons why Austin sucks: 1. Most of the fun stuff to do is really go to bars or walk along a lake that’s really like a giant river. 2. It can hit 90 degrees in February and humid. 3. Allergies are terrible here. 4. If you’re single, it’s a little more fun but basically you got the Domain, Rainey, Dirty 6, and East 6th. That’s it. That’s basically all. It’s a giant town with a wishful city look. It gets old fast. No true diverse neighborhoods. 5. Not a ton of things to draw inspiration from. Not very scenic. Land locked. Lack of true public land. 6. Mexican food here is terrible and nothing like California’s. Food in general is okay in Austin but not that special. 7. Overpriced homes. I’m under water like $50K. Luckily I got it rented out back in January. 8. Again, the weather basically fucking sucks, especially the summers. I would literally be in tears of joy when we had cold days. I never use to beg for cold days. If you took Phoenix on it’s hottest day and sunk it into the Atlantic Ocean and went to visit, you would get Austin. It’s the most overhyped city in America. It truly blows. Texas as a whole blows, but Austin is straight robbery vs the hype. Listen to all the people from Texas when they say don’t come to Austin, don’t come.
