I used to work in Bay Area. Moved to Austin, Texas pre Covid thinking Austin would have warm weather. But winter is cold here in Austin. Thinking of moving to florida. Need year around sun with warm weather. I am looking for city which has weather closer to Singapore. Interms of warm/hot weather and tech opportunities, curious if I should move to Tampa or Orlando or Miami?
Then Singapore is the only place with same weather
The Florida sun cooks your brain.
I am in Florida. Feel free to DM
Orlando is a pretty good choice. It’s a great city both for single people and married people with family
And Tech opportunities 🫠
DeSantis sexier than Abbott, go to Miami.
Miami if you want to make absolutely no compromises. There will be a dozen days in central Florida in winter where temperatures will drop to 50s.
Tampa is great, but there are a couple things that are lacking here compared to Miami. It's cheaper than Miami though. St. Petersburg (called St. Pete locally) is a great middle ground. DM me if you have any questions!
Hope you enjoy hurricanes
If you are Asian , you would love there ! I recommend go there and stay in Airbnb and work remote for sometime round the year and then make the big decision for final move
Its way too hot. Go back to Singapore
