I recently purchased a Tesla Model 3 performance and took a state farm Auto Insurance. It costs me 192$/month. I feel it is expensive. I have the following coverages on it - Bodily 100k/300k Property damage 50k Comprehensive coverage Glass deductible 500$ Deductible 500$ Collision coverage Deductible 500$ Emergency Road Service Car Rental/travel expenses Uninsured/underinsured motor vehicle 100k/300k Uninsured/underinsured motor vehicle - property damage 50k Also: 1. Progressive has stopped giving auto Insurance for Mode 3 2. USAA doesn’t provide either 3. AllState and Geico are very expensive Am I shelling out too much money on my auto Insurance? And Does anyone know any better insurance ?
192 really seems too high. I recently bought a bmw 3 series and my insurance is ~80 for similar coverage (with geico)
Yeah it does. Geico quoted me 446$/month 😅
Did you consider Tesla insurance?
Seems high. What discounts are shown on your policy? Having FSD is a solid discount, and good driver. Mine's $110. With the following differences: Property damage liability 100k uninsured/underinsured motorist property damage 3500 collision coverage deductible 1k comprehensive deductable 250 *correction this is for tesla insurance. Just saw you have state farm.
With all the negative info coming out about self driving crashes I’m not surprised insurance prices are up. Not saying it’s justified but insurance companies will gouge whenever they can
Costco insurance if you are not in CA.
I had a minor parking infraction a year back which is considered as collision and costco doesn’t provide insurance if you have any kind of collision related claims on your insurance. So couldn’t get it.
