[x] doubt
trend is executives leaving, job freeze, benefits cut, restructuring and then layoff
thats true, but looking for information like layoffs which is already planned and timer is on. the one which we had at meta, was like that
reach out to CEO on Linkedin😂
What was the offer? I’m in pipeline
How was your interview experience? What kind of questions were you asked?
It was medium difficultly frontend interview.
We haven't hired much last 2 years to do mass layoffs. But hey, I'll know when I know 🙃
Just heard layoffs in marketing today. Have you heard anything? Hope you’re safe btw.
The word is that it’s unlikely. We didn’t hire much over pandemic, and there’s still over 500 open jobs. They closed offices aggressively when people didn’t RTO. It’s more just letting attrition happen and only hiring cheap people in Oregon.
Thanks for answering!
It is literally happening right now
layoff just started today, 5-10% will be affected
Can you share more details? which office impacted?
Fake news. Less than 5%. Stop spreading fear.
Apparently only people in SF so far?
do you what all departments are impacted?
Layoff started this week, <5% were impacted. The official email about layoff was sent to the whole org today Regarding to the impacted teams - as far as I know, all the teams were impacted but to different extent. Some teams were combined together(meaning some senior managers were eliminated), I also know a few ICs were laid off(some are newbies, some have been with the company for many years)
Ah, that’s unfortunate. what all departments are impacted
@AutoRisk: FYI - I updated my answer. (Honestly I think all the teams were impacted)
their executives have been leaving
Who’s that?
Do you think thats a signal for future layoff?
