Which option is better: US Bank vs Fiserv vs Fidelity

Asking for my sister. She was laid off and after a lot of job searching, she has landed contracting positions (she has not applied for a full time positions due to work visa constraints) for the following: 1. Offer 1: a. Company = US Bank. b. Position = Product Owner role (This is her most preferred position) c. Length of contract = 1 year contract till end 2024. 100% remote. d. Pay = 20% less than Offer 2. e. Learning = Fantastic position as a Product Manager. Ordinary tech stack and ordinary technical knowledge opportunities. Good business learning. 2. Offer 2: a. Company = Fiserv b. Position = Business Analyst (this is a decent position but not her most preferred as she is searching for Product Manager/Product Owner role) c. Length of contract = 1 year contract till end 2024 Onsite in Georgia. She will have to relocate to Georgia from Washington DC. d. Pay = Good Pay e. Learning = Great Tech Stack, fantastic tools and products to learn from as company has 'niche' Fiserv products in the market which have wide scale implementation in Financial industry. Good business learning opportunities. Not a Product Owner role. 3. Offer 3: a. Company = Fidelity b. Position = Data Analyst (This is a decent position but not the most preferred.) c. Length of contract = 1 year contract till end 2024. Onsite in North Carolina. She will have to relocate to North Carolina from Washington DC. d. Pay = Best Pay among all 3 offers. e. Learning Opprtunity = Great Tech stack, good technical knowledge learning opportunities in terms of data but not so much as Product Owner. good business learning opportunities. Goals: 1. Remote Product Manager role 2. Stability = She wants stability and does not want to be laid off in 3 to 6 months. Which company is most stable amongst US Bank vs Fiserv vs Fidelity? 3. Technical Knowledge = Since she has a tech background, she wants to have technical learning through a good tech stack and acquire tech skills. 4. Business/Domain = Wants to acquire business/domain knowledge as well. 5. Pay = Wants the best pay but this is her 5th preference as all 3 offers are in similar pay range but Offer 3 has best pay followed by Offer 2. Considering her goals, which is the best company/offer to choose from? It's a tough choice as she wants all 5 points within Goals but especially Points 1, 2 and 3 are highest priority. Thoughts? #fidelity #fidelityinvestments #fiserv #usbank

Fiserv has great stability since they have been in the tech banking space for a long time. If your sister is not on H1B, why did she go for contract and not fte?

Thank you for the response. My sister is on H1B.

the BA - in a bank this is usually making flow charts and documenting processes. You could learn the business but if you get stuck on a crap project or under a crap manager ( both highly likely ) you be mis If relocating , I would take #3 for the money ( both locations are not far away from each other so go for the cash) also these locations are not ' high producing ' so I would expect the pace to be a lot slower ... I would take #1 and still job search on the side

This is you asking for your wife. And you probably interviewed for her too.

#1 sounds promising in terms of experience and opportunities as well as flexibility. 20% may depend on raw figures for me. Other than that, #3 may be a good option. Think #2 will pigeonhole a person and niche doesn't always mean good for future opportunities

Fiserv is more stable than US Bank. I heard recently US Bank gave only 90% of their STI or AIP or cash bonus. Fidelity is private and has even better situation with market ups and downs. So Fidelity is safest but contractor is never safe in financial services. The managers have a laser sharp focus on expense mgmt
