Asked to pick two orgs from the list of three for onsite interviews (SWE in Redmond). Which would you pick and why? Joining into their cleared work / Gov teams, if that changes anything. Looking for a balance between WLB, opportunities to learn/grow, and project impact. TC 145k YOE 9
Compute is a nice spot. Fair wlb, if you don't count the oncall in some of the teams.
@polaris alpha What did you end up picking and how is it going? I have an interview with Azure Data factory and I wanted to see if it is worth is. I am looking for opportunities to grow with a decent WLB. I am a SWE.
Do not waste your time with ADF. The engineering group and management sucks big time. You will learn nothing, let me repeat....'nothing'. You will be asked to work on some shit no one cares about. It will take you forever to contribute to something meaningful. Plus, micro management from the engineering management will suck up your WLB.

If engineering, ADF will suck your life, it is a zero WLB team. If PM, you should be okay.
Thanks for the heads up! Yeah I would going in as a SWE. It's the only team in that list I was unable to dig up much information on.
Is it still the case at ADF?
