I've got interest from teams in both orgs, wanted to get a feel for which team folks felt are better, especially in terms of culture, learning, advancement, and wlb. No offer numbers yet, they won't give me those until I choose a team first. YOE: 1.5 TC (current company): 120K #microsoft #azure
You're really lucky. I wish I'm able to work on Microsoft SDN... Enjoy it, it's a really good field to be in
What makes you say that? I haven't heard of the product or team before now.
I know the field very well, not the team. And I did read dozens of papers coming out of Microsoft networking group.. the work they are doing is really good. They are active in the open-source community as well which allowed me to see some of their work.. That being said, I dont know anyone personally there
SDN hands down if you are looking for interesting work that will boost your resume.
Lol it looks like the votes are pretty split. For people who voted Global Infrastructure, why?
Don't go to Azure Global, they are not real Azure
What makes you say that?
Double-check with the HM for the team you are looking into on whether the work is development or infrastructure automation. kvJo33 probably knows of the team and is aware that their work is more aligned to automation infrastructure instead of external customer facing feature team. If that’s the case, you definitely should pick SDN.

How on earth is your TC 120k at RTX
Got a different offer, Raytheon countered. I took it since I wanted to keep the 9/80 schedule and the other offer was on-site.
