B2 visa overstayed 13 days before going back home country
one of my friends mother overstayed her B2 visa by under 2 weeks, because she tried to extend her stay but her application got returned for incorrect fees. she had to book her air ticket right away, but rhe earliest affordable flight is 13 days after the notice. she will have to go to US consulate in her home country to interview for another B2 visa. Will her overstay affect her B2 visa ?

She will be refused a B2 and will be banned for up-to 10 years unfortunately. Get out of country before your 6 months is up, it’s not hard.
Fix the error and submit the visa extension application again. As long as application is with USCIS and awaiting decision, she will not be considered over stay.
