Are you tired of having awkward moment with your waiter, barista or person at the takeout window? Fear no more. Introducing mandatory tip tax, will be included by default to your bill, so that you don't have to be made felt like an A-hole. Furthermore, this tax now applies to everything, including your Amazon orders, your grocery bills, Ticketmaster tickets. Because someone somewhere is working to make things happen for you. Business owners can finally shake off the responsibility of paying their staff fairly and know that they'll be compensated by you, me, us, the consumers. Call your congressman now! Tc: enough that I should feel guilty for not tipping apparently
Idk why people complain about "subsidizing" an employees wage via a tip. You either gonna tip 20% or they gonna charge you 30% more to cover taxes to pay the employee 20%. Stop being cheap, you're either too broke to eat out or you're not.
Only certain states have special lower minimum wages for tipping occupations. https://clockify.me/learn/business-management/tipped-wages/ Those states I could justify an exorbitant tip %.
They should charge whatever is needed to run their business. That includes paying their employees a living wage. Shouldn't be up to individual consumers to guess how much extra to pay.
I like the idea but I do tip well above 20% occasionally. So that will not eliminate awkwardness unless tipping is banned entirely.
That’s it we are going to McDonalds
Hate to break it to you, but it’s always the customer that pays the employees. Where do you think the employer gets the money from?
Never directly though. I don't want my waiter to keep hopes on what number I put on the check I'm signing 🤷🏻♂️ That's why we have layers to abstract the customer from the employee. Otherwise each time someone buys a Cisco router or software I need to be paid a few cents in tip too. 😅
If someone builds and serve a custom router to you, its obligatory to pay, isnt it
My congressman’s voicemail box is full.
Oh wow. So genius! Wonder why no one thought about this till now
