You can get a TN or a H1B (goes through lottery BS). TN would be a better way.
You can come on TN visa. Once here, you can try your luck at green card if you’re not born in India
TN visa if: you’re a Canadian citizen and your proposed job falls under one of the USMCA categories (look them up). Your spouse would be a TD visa holder, and will not be able to work unless he gets his own TN.
L-1 visa if: you are working for the current company in Canada for at least 365 days consecutively before applying to move. Spouse would be able to work as an L-2.
Born in Canada, I went L1 => GC => Naturalized. Easy process
Isn't L1-A only for managerial positions? Eb1-c down the line ?
Why Microsoft immigration lawyers are not working on your case ?
Come in with TN visa which is relatively straightforward and easy to get. The spouse of TN Visa can come on TD visa but cannot work, only study. If your spouse needs to work, in the US then they'll need a different visa (their own TN or H1B). Is your spouse working for a Canadian company? There are some people who get away with working remotely in US but that's technically not allowed. There may also be issues down the road if they get a visa change and questions might be asked. The h1b lottery happens every year. Most employers will arrange for you to get your application in for the lottery but the chances are low to get it. Also chances vary depending on your level of education.
I’m also Canadian with Canadian husband that did an inter company transfer with Microsoft. L1 >> GC. Not currently planning on Citizenship. DM me if you want any tips.
Why are you leaving best country in the world 😉😉
I thought Canada was part of Visa Waiver program, why do they need visas at all?
For visiting no, for living yes. They need H1/L1/TN visa. They don't need physical visa stamp which is a different case.
Learn something new.. I though Visa Waiver program was like Europe, you could move, live and work anywhere.

Asians - what are your thoughts on asian female white male ?
are you india born? if yes then you ll be on a visa forever regardless of your citizenship, if not then pretty easy process.
Just because is harder for Indian and Chinese people to move to the US that does not mean it is easy for the rest. There is also a much bigger Indian community to get support from.
@Samsung Is it true? I thought Indians could get other countries' citizenship and get the US GC easily. Do they check the country of birth and differentiate?
