I wonder what kind of payout are you guys looking at wrt acquisition by PayPal. I heard there are only 350 people so $4B makes it about $10M by an employee. Was stock options offering good?
lol you thing they just took $4B and divided it equally? Honey had like 6 funding rounds. Some execs might have 1 or 2% but most people will be very little or nothing. Certainly not $10M
1% is 40M that’s a lot of money. At 0.25% which is feasible for a VP you would have made 10M. Directors probably made 2-3M. Everyone else got essentially double-triple their salary for every year they were there. Founders made an absolute killing though.
4 rounds and they’ve only raised $30M
This seems like an insanely expensive acquisition. I wonder what kind of value PP will be getting out of it.
