I’m starting the L5 Meta interview process. Any tips? I’m mostly concerned with the coding assessment. I’m not sure what else to prepare for. From what I see here it’s a good place to be. Thanks. Current TC: $135 Charlotte, NC
System design needs to be on point

you just need to do all leetcode in the given time. have some stories about products you launched and led. then design a distributed system that scales
Do LC. Practice to communicate your algo flow efficiently in clear English. Really make sure you are comfortable with solving LC 2 problems in 40 minutes. Other candidates are doing these too, so make sure you are better than them. I got rejected 2 years ago because I was arrogantly confident that solving 2 problems were enough to pass the bar. Turns out interviewers look for soft skills too: communication, reasoning trade offs, nice to work with. 2 years later, I got called again last Oct to interview. This time I went all out in preparation: 1. 2k LC solved. 2.2k contest rating. 2. Married with grokking system design. 3. Prep 8 stories for common behavioral questions. This was for Menlo Park role, IC5. I got a verbal 'yes' from recruiter 2 days after interview. Additional 2 weeks for team match and offer letter. Joined WhatsApp team after that.
A good technique is to pretend some object is the interviewer and explain your thought process out loud. I use my dog who quite enjoys being talked at lol https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubber_duck_debugging
