I'm from Korea and currently working as a back-end developer here. I'm planning to tour Silicon Valley on Saturday, February 17th, to see some of the world's leading tech companies like Meta, Google, Microsoft, Tesla, Apple and HP and so on. Are there any recommended tour packages for visiting these big tech companies? Are the distances between the companies close? I guess I'll have to move from one company to another by Uber. I would love to meet and talk with people who are currently working at these companies during my visit to Silicon Valley. I'm interested in hearing about the hiring process in the U.S., stories about the company, and how it differs from Korea. If anyone is willing to meet and share their experiences, please leave a comment or send me a message. Thank you !(•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑
Hi👋🏼 how much is it? And Where we will go?
“Housing included” 🆘🈲☣️🚫
Silicon Valley itself is a dump. Just endless suburban sprawls. Nothing interesting. You can show up to the companies to take some pictures but be super careful with the creeps offering you a tour with housing included. I suggest you go meetup.com to go to tech meet up instead.
It’s good Thanks
Avoid Korean girls at all cost (Based on my experience in my youth and colleage)
Avoid crazy people who post racist comments like this. (Based on my experience in my youth and colleage)
Do not call a racist to the same country person idiot
Saturday it’s a good time to visit. No one will be there! Most of the companies have no visitors policy and the ones that have do not allow after bussiness hours.
Oh.. okay.. I can just take pictures in front of company sign. Thanks😔
Is it safe to walk around alone?
https://maps.app.goo.gl/7PSqhmSYuPN1cSK5A?g_st=ic Don’t forget to add this to your bucket list. Steve Jobs’ garage or Apple garage. Probably the garage that changed the world forever
Wow🤩 What a good information Thanks👍🏻
Are you forreal? You're sightseeing corporate buildings that ruins people's lives literally everyday?
This is Odd. Silicon Valley is not a real place. It’s a name people call a very small region in the peninsula/South Bay. Only tech people who are not from here even use that term. It is not a term locals use. Also Those are the least interesting places to visit in the Bay Area. It’s suburban. Also you shouldn’t just visit a company. Meta does have a sign that I see (usually Asian) tourist stopping at to take pictures. But I have never seen people do that at other companies. If you want to visit the Bay Area then look up tourist attractions in the Bay Area, not SV. I’m afraid your goal is going to disappoint you.
lol bruh
🥹Touring Silicon Valley and talking with current professionals is on my bucket list. Now that I'm in the U.S., it seems like I can make it happen. *+:꒰◍•ᴗ•◍꒱:+*
Sigh. Why do you have to be a party pooper?
