Hi, Today I got an offer from GlobalLogic. They said they would process my green card after six months(Currently H1). But, I have upcoming interviews from Apple, Amazon, Google, and a few series B startups. It would be my first transfer. So I am a little anxious about it. Do you think I should let the offer go to take other interviews? #software #swe #greencard #h1b
Let them do. Once you get offer you want then reneg.
6 month before GC process it is good. As usual they wants 1 year or more. Also vendor work in GL is very boring, you have limited possibilities and often has to work in not comfortable time with offshore teams. If you feels that will hit the MAANG -do it. But is is comepletly different interview experience. I can say that GL hires almost everyone who not lays about experience and has good knowledge. In FAANG huge competition , hiring freeze and even layoffs. Think twice.
