The man I love hates me because I’m Vietnamese
Hi, my spouse got an offer from AT&T. It will now proceed to background check. She has all employment history from India. So the question, how and what all will they verify in this background check? She did not leave on great terms with last manager since they did not want to resign and her WLB was not that great. So we are worried about it. #att #backgroundcheck
Don’t mention that employer in BGC form
It is mentioned in the resume. So she will have to mention it in the BGC form
As former employee, I can tell they have third party company called hire right who will dig into professional background. Usually they only check employment date on resume matches with company record and that is also limited to last 3-4 years. Any thing that don’t match they will ask you to explain. That feedback goes to hiring manager
Cool! But how do they check employers from India. Plus some of the employers are small companies.
They will ask her to give company details and contact information. The company will simply give them a call or shoot an email for them to confirm dates. If they don't hear back they will ask you for assistance trying to get paystubs or something that they can use to validate dates, or contact of a previous manager. If that fails they wills simply say they are unable to confirm the accuracy and let AT&T K ow the same.
