I know this affects bankers but financial institutions tech is very low priority and will cut at any given chance even top performers during layoffs.

I was just hired for BoFa. Have the offer as well.
Tech side? Then don't think much to worry about for now.
Yea on the tech but non SWE. Fortunately, have another offer and unusual for big banks to lay off core teams.
