Any other companies out there treat their employees as “resources” with humanity-sapping policies?
Previous company (Canadian Pacific Railway) was like this. No stickers. Clean desk after 5 or get a email the next day. Volun-told (“Lottery”) to volunteer conductor work in the middle of no where to fight Unions for a week. Some of the old school businesses are like this.
Is Canadian Pacific railway good company for coasting?
Nope. They lay off like commodities. Every 4 years. An IT sweatshop
Also, worth mentioning I don’t like them myself, but it feels different when being generally advised you can’t have them if you wanted
Varo does this, but they're hardly relevant.
