Barclays or MasterCard
I have an offer in hand from MasterCard Offered TC £82k Lead TPM Remote Barclays offer is in process Not London office Offering TC £88k VP PM Hybrid but no relocation required and it’s 30 min walk so I am cool on that As Barclays takes way too long to roll out offer, I might need to decline MC offer just a week before joining Which should I go for? And if declining Mastercard offer then how to do it #tech without burning the bridges? Current TC £60k #Barclays #MasterCard #projectmanager
What’s your YOE OP? I’d encourage you to hustle both. Push MC to bump up package while asking Barclays to speed up offer. My 2 cent is that Barclays is probably more recession proof that MC where they’re increasingly aligning themselves to tech trends. Short 30 min walking commute alone is worth it. Yes I am going ahead with Barclays, They took 3 weeks to send contract. it's Glasgow location
Why not both? My Barclays card is a Mastercard. 🤷🏼♀️
