There is never “no risk of flood”. There are just degrees of risk. I’m not in a designated flood zone, but I live right next to a river and voluntarily chose to get flood insurance. Some folks like that financial safety net. Also, it is incredibly cheap outside of a flood zone so there is even less reason to not have it.
No option for have flood insurance, not in flood risk zone?
