Not sure if that’s something to be happy about if you live in Austin. Although there will be more tech job opportunities but I think the real estate market will take a hit. Lower middle class may feel priced out pretty soon. That’s what happened in the Bay and Seattle.
Not if remote work becomes a reality. People will spread further away avoiding sharp peaks in real estate prices
Indeed. I'm already seeing reports that Austin is too expensive. At the same time, seeing some absurdly priced homes that are now seeing price drops
