Any good sites for preparing behaviour interview questions ?
create a pool of 100-200 questions and think of/write answers. havent found any complete pool before but it was quite interesting to create one by myself. found it very productive to come through all of those hypothetical scenarios and try to find life examples
Just Google it. There are tons of good examples out there, and once you have 3-4 good examples, you can really manipulate them to answer different types of behavioral questions with just those
Do you think it's fine to fake details of certain stories/examples?
“Morally” no, but in reality, everyone does and it’s absolutely okay. I’ve done it plenty of times. You just need to twist your stories and manipulate them to answer some of the questions. Also, I think about what i WOULD HAVE done if i weren’t in that situation before (when i look at practice questions)
If the interviewer is any good, they’ll likely use the STAR method of evaluation. Situation, Task, Action, Result. They’ll also be evaluating a specific competency with their own evaluation process.
