I have Chase Sapphire Reserve. It's the best card imho, especially if you like to eat out and travel. Which most of us techies do. The annual fee is way worth it and you get it back easily. It has the best travel insurance out of any credit card Ive had / looked at, with the highest coverages, including eg comparison with the United chase credit card. Some of my other favorite perks are, you get immediate $300 credit for any travel related expenses which covers most of the annual fee, and you get "pay yourself back" categories (typically groceries and eating out) where you can turn the points you've collected into cash with a lot better conversion rates (I think 20-25% bonus). You also get access to special hotel prices which actually are often lower than what you can generally find online, and/or often have better booking terms such as more flexible cancellation. And it has tons of constant discounts for shopping too, big brands across all categories you can imagine. Last but not last, I've had great experience with disputing transactions when I wasn't happy with the service, product wasn't delivered etc. They immediately give you credit on your account and wait 2 months for the merchant to submit evidence against your claim. If merchant doesn't submit sufficient evidence, that's it and you successfully got your money back. No more hassle with shady service providers and merchants. DM for referral

This is the chase sapphire reserve. OP is asking about a different card

Yes it is. Thanks, edited. I have both Preferred and Reserve, and would definitely recommend Reserve. You get the annual fee back very easily.

flew to india and all over for free with the preferred. if you’re not big on traveling it still has so many perks like dash pass for doordash etc the card pays for itself -a hackish girl

Really? Did you need to spend a minimum amount to collect enough points for flying free?

Google supernal Nov 16, 2023

no. the initial 3 months is a $3k optional spend to get the bonus 50k points. dm me for a referral link

They gave me about $700 or so sign in bonus. Isn’t it enough to get the card?
