Cohere models in both my experience and Llm leaderboards significantly lag the state of the art. Oracle being exclusive with cohere was a mistake in my opinion. Aws was smarter(also they can afford to), kept its fingers in many pies. They are still getting criticized because google has bard, palm, gemini but aws own model is still lagging open source models The ai pop oracle saw was mainly because of work done to set up gpu clusters and gpus resource. While others giants are trying to reduce their reliance on nvidia, google with tpus’s, Ms with Maia, meta and aws have their own plans, oracle can continue to collaborate with nvidia, take their spare capacity and continue to improve/leverage on their existing infra, code and drivers Who knows, maybe nvidia Nemo may also catch up to Sota and that could be

I guess the options are wrong. Oracle and NVIDIA partnership is hardware level for superclusters where as cohere is the LLM, AI, ML and data science. Bing (co-pilot) will no way partner with Oracle to provide services as its their selling point now and ChatGPT (OpenAI) is a Microsoft backed project from many years.
