Looking to learn nooks and crannies of data science. Probable future career switch on the horizon. I am not the most disciplined person so not going to take the self taught route. I have googled and seen SAS,AWS,MICROSOFT provide data science training and certificates. How good are they for the job market? Any kind of suggestions are welcome.
Find something that you're so passionate about that you can't sleep until you code it up. Then build it. I know you don't know how to build a complex DS system now but you learn by doing, playing w complex data where the answers aren't given in a text book. Go tinker.
Current student at the Georgia Tech Online Masters of Analytics program. Total cost is about $12k for the entire degree and it for the most part feels like a rigorous in-person masters. It’s pretty theory-heavy and could stand to be paired with a relevant certification focusing on deployment, but overall would recommend.
Thanks, I will definitely look at it
Did they raise the cost? Numbers I saw a year or two ago were more like $7-8k.
