Before I get lectured, I am a long term index fund investor and not looking to strike it rich as a day trader. I’ve some pocket change I want to gamble And would like to learn more about how to leverage different strategies in up and down markets.
Nassim Taleb's books: The Black Swan Antifragile Skin in the Game
Margin of Safety by Klarman is a famous one. Intelligent Investor or Security Analysis by Graham are classics. Obviously anything from Buffett. If we're talking short term though, the algo and HFT type places will eat your lunch
