Best book to read to learn how to trade stocks?

Before I get lectured, I am a long term index fund investor and not looking to strike it rich as a day trader. I’ve some pocket change I want to gamble And would like to learn more about how to leverage different strategies in up and down markets.

Margin of Safety by Klarman is a famous one. Intelligent Investor or Security Analysis by Graham are classics. Obviously anything from Buffett. If we're talking short term though, the algo and HFT type places will eat your lunch

+1 for A Random Walk. Also recommend Benjamin Graham's The Intelligent Investor and Security Analysis, and Buffet's annual letters.

Which one are you? Even though my personal life has mostly resembled the guy on the right (metaphorically speaking) my investment strategy resembles the guy on the left, unfortunately.
