Best cards after chase reserve?
Thinking to let go of my reserve due to hefty fees. Want to get another card with similar or less benefits. I have amazon prime card, discover and reserve. I like the rental car insurance of chase. However all the points i have i have not really them much. When i try to book hotels they don’t show anything availablin my desired city. Flights are always crappy or already higher priced than actual price on airline website. Wanted to get american express as i have seen many offers for American Express on different websites. Other i am thinking is to get some airline card for better upgrades and cheaper tickets like companion fare not sure what is best if seattle area. I think Delta is more ubiquitous for domestic and international travel but want to know other thoughts as well. #creditcards Tc 350k
I considered this but second work travel trip and I use a completely different set of airlines so suddenly chase seems more valuable.

Free flights? Nowhere does it say that. I only see free checked bags and free entry to united lounge. Did you mean using the sign up bonus miles to redeem free flights?
Downgrade to Preferred. Other options are Venture X (need to use portal for max benefit) and Amex Platinum (not as widely accepted vs. Visa). I’ve been thinking about switching from Reserve too, but haven’t found anything else that fits me better.

Bilt. I have reserve too. But have been thinking of getting rid of my reaerve card and just use Bilt

Capital one Venture X, one of the best. Reasons: Add upto 4 family members for free, 395 annual fee and 300 back in airline credits, all other benefits comparable to Reserve. One huge benefit with Chase though is 1.5x points when used for travel.
You can transfer your chase points to airline 1:1 and book directly with the airline too
Yes but most of the times I don’t see a better price with points and the options are also less if i try to book with points
