Title says it all. What are some good companies to join and slack off until laid off with severance?
Hire to fire? Uno reverse
OP gets PIPed fired for performance and no severance
Even PIP offers severance (e.g. at Amazon)
BNP Paribus has minimum of six months
I've gotten attention from all others except Netflix. I'm connected with multiple Netflix recruiters on LinkedIn, but none of them respond to my messages. How are people getting interest from Netflix recruiters if they're not in Los Gatos or LA?
Perseverance! It took me 4 times of full onsite interviews to get in. It takes a perfect resume match with the role you're applying for to get recruiter attention
Oh sweet. I was under the assumption that Netflix was a "fail once and we blacklist you" kind of place. How soon were you able to apply again when you didn't pass?
You realize that they don’t have to pay severance, right? There’s no legal requirement. They can just fire you or just lay you off with nothing.
You are clearly assuming US…. In most parts of the world there is severance. They always pay severance cause it’s cheaper than dealing with wrongful termination suits.
I know, but some companies still do (e.g., Netflix) so I'm looking to build a list of those companies
