Who told you that? They don't use textbook technical analysis but runtime inference from live data is used by GS

Goldman Sachs jaygarrick May 31, 2021

What do you mean by runtime inference from live data ?

I tried putting a combination of silver with a blend of amethyst along with 1g coral up my bum during the 3rd phase of the blood moon in 2019 after taking a shower with sun-kissed water! ....Went bankrupt, gf left me, covid happened, crashed my car

Goldman sucks manipulates markets and has tons of money to manipulate stock. You can't compete against a demon of that size

At a big scale I believe so but what if I want to change my 'lunch money' into 'car money' There are consistent trading behaviour that can be identified

See there is no silver bullet solution to retail trading. First, do you understand the financial markets? As in do you understand the jargons, the technicalities and the taxation on income from fin markets? Second, what is the horizon you are aiming for, intraday vs long time. Third, how much risk appetite you have? Fourth, do you want to invest exclusively in certain securities like equities or you want to trade in options. Fifth, do you have any background in fundamental analysis? Understanding macro economy at least somewhat so that you can gauge international firms? Without knowing your background, it'd be difficult to advise anything. I am trading since three years and I have a master's degree in mathematics. So I built some models of my own for bot trading...u can look into markov chains for starters
