Budget is less than 80k. Main usecase: Comfort for weekend longer drives/trips. Like to have: Great tech/interiors.
Tf is Tesla on the list to begin with
From a tech perspective. I agree interiors are non existent
Trackhawk. You're welcome.
Lexus RX Hybrid.
What's the USP?
Comfort, smoothness, unparalleled reliability and resale value and great mpg is cherry on the cake.
Bro really listed a model y as a 1) luxury 2) Suv 😂
1) Luxury from tech pov. 2) Tesla website quote: "Model Y is a fully electric, mid-size SUV with unparalleled protection and versatile cargo space."
What is tech luxury? Any luxury car will have great tech. Also MY uses the chassis of M3. SUVs by definition should be using truck Chassis. It's a crossover.
Get the X3 M40i if you love driving and thank me later. Or just get the X5 and get the space and ride comfort. Nothing else from the options you listed.
We’ve had an Audi Q7 for a couple of years. It’s really great but might be hard to get for under $80k these days.
Tesla Model X but might be too expensive. I would avoid ICE SUVs, higher chance of rollover.
How many rollover accidents happen? Very few. If you really want, you can rollover a sedan too. This argument is pretty stupid tbh.
It’s not stupid if the data says so: Q5 https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2016/AUDI/Q5/SUV/AWD#safety-ratings-rollover A4 https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2011/AUDI/A4/4%252520DR/FWD#safety-ratings-rollover Electric SUV is an exception since center of gravity is low due to the battery https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2022/TESLA/MODEL%252520Y%2525207-SEAT/SUV/RWD#safety-ratings-rollover
Macan > x3 (unless you get the 40i engine) > GLC > q5 >>>>> model Y Porsche is the best you pay for it. Higher base price and need to option everything. Magan base engine is meh, get S or higher I would consider RX and MDX too. They’re within budget but don’t compete exactly as they’re bigger.
I chose Macan but only experience is w/ the GTS model and that thing is fun to drive. I liked it over an M3.
All of the vehicles you listed are considered entry-level models, so their interiors are made more cheaply than what you'll find on the midsize or large SUVs that these companies make. If your budget is 80k and comfort is a priority, I'd definitely look at a X5/Q7/GLE instead (nix the Porsche for being too expensive and the Tesla for having a Tesla interior).
