Joining Snap next month... Any special benefits that Snap employees enjoy not mentioned on the Benefits brochure (it looks pretty usual to me tbh)? YOE: 3.5 New TC: 390k
The SNAP stock roller-coaster. It's one heck of a ride.
Damn, 390k for 3.5 yoe? Is this for mid level swe?
Yeah L4 is mid to senior level. Base goes up to 220k stock per year is 180k. Add sign on and 390 is a typical amount for L4 here.
Hey, can you share the sign on bonus details?
Hey OP, I have a friend at Snap who reviewed my offer of 410K and said it’s one of the best (6 years of experience with 2 years masters). I just signed it. 180K base. The max base is 190K and that’s reserved for folks internally and not given to external hires as they’ll get a raise soon. So you did great. Relax.
Congratulations on your offer and thanks for your words! Can you share the details on your offer as well?
It’s 410, 180 base, 500k something equity, 60K sign on equity and 20K cash bonus. 2nd year TC is 390K but hoping pay raise will compensate
What will you do there? PM or engineer?
Based on TC, Engineer
PM makes a lot of money at Snap too
