I think in the USA it’s San Francisco but maybe post pandemic a suburb of it would be better
SF is arguably one of the worst places to live in the US
I think it’s all about whether you got that nice faang job or not right
No, if you have a FAANG job then you're probably commuting to South Bay anyways. Mostly startups and banks in the city. Between the lawlessness and the aging&tiny housing we decided to move far far away.
Yea, SF is Probably one of the worst places to live in the us.
I work in SF. It is not a great place to live.
I like the Chinatown and beach along the Golden Gate Bridge
Singapore. Main language is English, warm and sunny weather all year, one of the safest countries on Earth, super clean streets and in general advanced society (they handled covid super well, currently they’re at like 20 new cases per day). Also plenty of tech career opportunities there.
Don’t disagree but wouldn’t want to be isolated in a small island . Want more room
I pick USA over asia
San Francisco is a shithole. I can't even imagine how people choose to live in a place as filthy as that.
Genuinely curious OP, what other places have you been in the US? You keep just saying the ultra touristy shit in SF. Every big city has touristy shit.
Franklin, TN
SF suuuuucks. I'm so happy to be out of there. It was fun ten years ago. Probably prior to that too. To get an answer, though, you're going to have to state your priorities you have and desires you want from the kind of place you want to live. For me as a married father give me a town of ~100K in a mountain valley or something like that.
I’m single with desire for good weather year round and enjoyed the 50s when I stayed in San Fran . I’m a runner so that’s why. I liked the beach along the bridge there as it made for a great run
Honestly for a family, I think the DC metro area is fantastic.
I heard dc is nice as well.
Could you be more specific about city/town ?
