What are the best tech companies for career growth as an engineer? I want to learn solid engineering, system design for example. I feel like I am at a good spot at Uber. A combination of scale, top notch colleagues, fast promotions and ability to learn about resilient systems. Im looking for other opportunities too wondering where else I can grow even better. How is Google? 1yoe, new grad

Weird flex but ok

Goto a company with a good culture. Anything’s better than Uber in that regard. Tech challenges at Uber are great tho so if you don’t care about that stay at Uber.
What's wrong with Uber? Honest question here, I know a couple of things that are wrong with my team, but curious how people perceive that (other than the bad things we did and got shown in the media)
You know couple things wrong with your team? Lmao
Fast growing proto-unicorn is the way to go for career growth if you’re smart and can learn quickly on your own.
Stereotypically speaking doesn’t Google have a culture of caring about solid systems and engineering quality? Personally compared to where I’ve worked before (mediocre startups) FB has been a rocket ship of career growth in comparison. I imagine it could have been similar if I joined Uber though
Wanna exchange referrals? LOL
