None of them, unless you like working with old tech.

Who then are the new/fresh tech companies which do IMS, RF, Service Provider Wireless, VOIP, wireless performance? How would all the neat smartphone tech work without strong radio frequency and voice/data core engineering? I get a little confused when telecommunications is not considered "tech" or cutting edge tech. I know people with PHDs who are brilliant that do work on wireless performance statistical analysis for Telecom companies which enable Gen Z and millennials to use Door Dash and hail a cab. Is running a cab company or a car company tech as well?

Telecom TC isn’t high unless you start to get into exec management positions. I’ve worked at T, VZ, and TMO. They are all top down managed and your job is to execute. A great engineer can make a hair over 200K TC if you’re excellent. Bottom range is probably 120. You’ll have to be director and up to exceed 300 TC.

At what level do you start to break into the 600, 700+ range?

Look for promising start-ups, you will get to work on new tech and if some giant acquires you, you will make a lot of money

I’ve worked both in ATT and T-Mobile. T-Mobile for sure is a better place to work !!
