What's your method to find new job positions and getting a successful callback? Reason I'm asking is I'm not getting good results based on what I'm doing. - for new job positions: Glassdoor, linkedin? - Do you apply to as many as you can - do you tailor your resume to each position - are referrals the key?
I bought LinkedIn premium and contacted recruiters directly on LinkedIn. Change my profile setting to mention that I am actively looking for a job change. Within a month, I had calls from 8 companies.
Tweak your resume and LinkedIn to match the job description you are applying for. Without lying, of course. Then contact a recruiter for that company directly.
I have gotten call backs from Google, Microsoft, Dropbox, AWS, and today Apple after 6 weeks. I didn’t have referrals I just applied online on their career website.
Referrals is the fastest way to get a call back for sure. Otherwise keep doing what you're doing. I've heard a lot of friends get good results with Hired if you want to try that.
