Have an app idea. What’s the fastest way to take it from an idea to a reality? I’ve been reading about firebase curious if anyone has used it
maybe this will shed some light. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n5G48o2bxQ
Xcode -> swift
Why??
With fire base you will simplify server side programming. For client side, stick to one platform to get the proof of concept quickly out to the users. If you are good with Java, go with Android. If you are good with C or C++, and own a Mac, go with iOS.
Personal feeling... easier to build and debug with Xcode. iOS is a big market too. How’s the dev environment with Android these days?
Really? You think c over swift for iOS ?
Fastest way is offshoring through upwork
I want to do it myself
Checkout this lib called Amplify if you’re using AWS as your provider - https://github.com/aws-amplify/amplify-js it’s pretty powerful and maintained by AWS
i thought even admins could code with PowerApps
Not sure what power apps is. Also I’m SWE but backend . haven’t done anything in mobile
Focus on one client type. I have written an app on my own and writing more than one client is *really* hard. If this is a requirement then write it in a multi-platform solution such as react native.
Swift & iOS. Swift is an awesome language
Hmmm. Looks like half people saw swift and the other half say c..
Swift is much more powerful and much cleaner, in my opinion
Swift, it’s 🔥
