Who has the best work life balance with above average pay? (Doesnt have to be MANG level pay of course)
what's your definition of average pay?
$150k base for senior, remote
You will be making that much for a senior at Nordstrom? are you looking for a much higher base than 150k?
VMware by your definition lol
Cool will check out their positions thanks
I interviewed at VMware a few years ago and they left a very bad impression on me. The hiring manager was very rude. I’m sure that’s not the case for all teams but I have no idea how that level of inappropriateness is allowed at a company
My company has very good wlb. Feel free to DM for referral
Vmware, LinkedIn, Microsoft, saleaforce, workday
Howz Ciena?
Meh. No RSUs and raises are trash outside of promotions, even for high fliers. WLB is as easy or hard as you want.
Pluralsight, if you are aiming only around 150k base.
Do i need leetcode hard for apple?
Yes
I can tell you with confidence that Schwab isn’t above average pay but it’s not the bottom of the barrel. Work Life Balance is fantastic for mid level and above and you can absolutely skate by until retirement doing little to nothing if that’s what you want to do. If leadership becomes concerned, blame it on the integrity of the environments and external dependencies. That said, because most of leadership won’t push very hard on the issues mentioned above(because they don’t understand and because it’s not their job to fully grasp) it’s easy to become complacent and antiquated if you ever plan to leave for cutting edge technology. TC: 200k, YOE: 20
A bit too antiquated for me, will look jnto it tho.
Grubhub has great wlb (including permanent half day fridays) and tc can be around 225k for sr give or take.
Remote available? How hard is the interview compared to MANG?
Yea there are remote positions. Probably not as hard as mang but not easy imo, leetcode required.
Can vouch for iFIT.
