Do math on excel sheet my friend! Include the resale value, fuel costs and tax credits

doesn't snow much here, but both are adequate

Zillow Group SnDe72 May 7, 2019

Doesn't make a difference. Just don't get a green Subaru Forester please. We have enough of that

If you plan on going on mountain trips in winter (if your out doors type / snowsports) I really recommend investing in an AWD SUV. AWD because of constant rain and snow and SUV because people here love leaving their brights on.

Cisco vzIq77 May 8, 2019

Better use snow tires with those during the winter or else there will be no point in paying extra for AWD

Microsoft gfba68 May 8, 2019

Skip AWD and just get snow tires. AWD don't add much on a snowy road anyway.
