Beyond disgusted by Cisco employees support for Hamas terrorists

Cisco employees in Middle Eastern offices are openly supporting what Hamas did in Israel. Multiple emails in the Dubai office from these paki origin employees to "Pray for Gaza" and "Fundraise for Gaza", the same day when the world was coming to terms with what Hamas did in Israel. Forget condemnation, not even a single mention of the attack, murder, and rape of innocent Jewish people. Not even a shallow attempt to look neutral. Now, these people are doing bake sales and other fundraising events for Palestine. I am sure all the white folks from Europe and the UK who are working in these offices will gleefully join these events because they need to protect their jobs. Further, Cisco is still funding multiple non-profits for "Palestinian causes" through employee donation matching. Most of these non-profits are vetted by Middle Eastern countries like UAE, Qatar, and Saudi, who themselves are accused of terror funding. There is no monitoring, control, or visibility into these non-profits by Cisco or where the money is going. There are numerous reports that Hamas has full control over the money and aid coming to Palestine. So basically, we are working for a company that has employees who openly support terrorism without any consequence and a company that might or might not be funding terrorism.

OP is a fellow Indian that just wants a forum to thrash Pakistan. Stop using this conflict to spew your hate for Pakistanis.

Cisco wthlol OP Oct 16, 2023

Considering your favorable view of Hamas, Pakistan and what Hamas did in Israel, I can only feel sorry for India to have people like you holding their passport. My nationality is immaterial. All the emails, bake sales, and gleeful cheering of Hamas is being done by employees of Paki origin. It is a fact, not something I made up to spew "hatred" toward anyone. But yeah, don't think anyone has a strong reason to like Pakistan, a country with large public support for terrorism and home to 95% UN-designated terrorists (another fact). Although support for Hamas by these Pakistan-origin colleagues was my first time seeing such support for terrorism in real life.

I haven’t shared any of views on Hamas, Pakistan or Israel in this post anywhere. So your bias and ignorance keeps coming out. And you don’t have an authority on Indian nationality or what all Indians should support. Now, stop assuming much and try to objectively debate.

Gaza != Hamas. Palestine != Hamas. Once you understand that, read their content without the Islamophobic mindset fed into your brains by (likely) western media outlets.

Google LovelyGogo Oct 16, 2023

Exactly. This person is offended by their very existence. A Zionist terrorist

X Aqgt15 Oct 16, 2023

Easy. Let’s not stoop to the western levels by generalizing Israeli sympathizers. The best we can do is give them the facts (that their media isn’t) and hope for enlightenment.

Man have a glass of wine and stop worrying about things out of your control

But to show his allegiance and patriotism to india, OP has an eternal need to spew hate on Pakistan.

Calm down m8. Supporting Gaza is not supporting Hamas

Apple HaddHaiBC Oct 16, 2023

Most tech workers are progressive naturally they’d support HAMAS which in their minds represents the oppressed Palestinians. It’s not just Cisco.

Google burry_shot Oct 16, 2023

Yes they fall at any claim of sympathy gainers

Apple HaddHaiBC Oct 16, 2023

A lot of folks throw half baked internet research at you to prove they are smart and hence right on this topic. But no one comes with a pragmatic solution. Israel is not gonna just quit, Palestinians have generations born during this conflict and have lost so much that they have nothing but resentment against Israel. How do you solve this peacefully ?

I’m a White Christian Male and I don’t really have a side on this but am mostly pro-Israel as I’m not totally educated on this. But I feel pro-Israel or Jewish people I see who are vocal about this are like forcing people to have no opinion of their own and if you don’t side with Israel you are a monster. Am I the only one who thinks this? Something I noticed. All the posts I see not even on blind on all social media are like this.

I've noticed

That is directly from Israel state propaganda. They make problem look like either another Jewish genocide or you side with Israel state. Look media whoever slightly criticized Israel labeled as antisemitic.

Yes one religion is having most extremism but that doesn’t mean what happening is correct , No escape route , no freedom , what else Palestinians can do , it’s condemnable the act which initiated but not the way they leading their life If every one have some common sense the issue won’t be this far I dont support hamas but I support Palestinians as they deserve more freedom in this world Think what would be you are doing if you in third situation , how you feel if your little kid dying in your hands

Qualtrics AYUu78 Oct 16, 2023

It's sad state of affairs. How hard is it to condemn killing civilians and yet, there is a debate about it.

Cisco wthlol OP Oct 16, 2023

1. The world will be a better place if Good Muslims become more Islamophobic. 2. If you think there is any justification for what was done in Israel, I think you are part of the problem. 3. You don't need to be an expert in the Middle East to know what was done in Israel was wrong. 4. Considering the public support Hamas enjoys in Gaza, it is naive for people to think draw a distinction between the two.

Unity jklp Oct 16, 2023

You don't even seem to know the population there is very young (wonder why....) And yet conflate a population that has a large percentage of children with Hamas. Maybe projecting to say people are naive.
