Nixon was the better debater. From the same debate, JFK won in a poll of TV audiences because of his looks. Nixon won in a poll of radio audiences. Didn't like Nixon as a person, but YouTube his interviews -- you don't hear impromptu lucid thoughts about foreign policy from politicians these days.
