Currently interviewing for a role at Bird. Anyone know about their remote working culture? Any tips for interviewing? Comp packages? I’m on my second round. Thanks!
Very slim chance to work remote on a regular basis Comp will be lower base with more equity, so depends on what you think of the business
Yeah we closed down the SF office recently. You're gonna be expected to primarily show up to HQ. Although we are flexible, people wfh here and there and we have unlimited PTO.
Since this was posted in finance careers, worth noting the finance team is pretty much always in the office. All other benefits are great and people are smart and ambitious and very kind to be around. You can work from home, but not culturally encouraged.

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Engineering seems to have a better work remote culture than Ops does, unless of course you actually are working remotely for your role. What role or team are you interviewing for? Is remote work important to you? Candidly we’re a pretty HQ based company.
