Can anyone recommend the subj? I found a Coursera course from Princeton, but looks like their programming assignments are in Java (imagine a puking image here).
Language is just a tool, what matters is what you can do with it.
What specifically do you want to learn?
Just an overview, for now, and see if it can be a valuable skill career wise. I went to an interview with a startup a few years ago, they were doing something with block chain. But I totally couldn't figure out how they were going to make money, or even who were their customers. Their refusal to clarify this stuff looked very odd to me.
There is a HUGE difference between bitcoin, which is a cryptocurrency and blockchain, which is a technology. I think simply googling “how blockchain works” will be a good start. Then go from there as blockchain applications can be endless.
