I’m blessed to have a job right now with Pandora as a data engineering contractor (title is data analyst). I’ve been an analyst all my life. Trying to go into a DE role, which is why I’m at Pandora. I’m currently making $115K as a contractor and have 3 months on my contract left. No sign of promise to get hired again but I’m learning/developing a lot. I’ve been developing my skills with Airflow, Hive, GCP, BQ, linux, and Python. I’ve been presented a Sr Data Analyst role with Fox for $140K TC. I’ll be using some AWS stack but mainly it’ll be QC ing work and Documenting. What’s your take, should I take the DA role again? I feel like its a step back even though the pay is higher. What’s your take please? #dataanalytics #datascience #data
The Data Engineering team at Fox is awesome! Their leader is brilliant. Take Fox.
Move to fox and try moving to DE internally there?

Goto fox but keep searching?
Ya I guess. Just tired of going through interview processes and leaving jobs after a couple months. Not sure if it’s going to look bad for the next employers too.
