Doordashers at Blind making headline.. Link: https://news.yahoo.com/doordash-employee-making-400k-complained-043424806.html #tech #doordash
Have you made your delivery this month?
People have a personal vendetta against Amz. Does DD treat its employees the same way?
Lol what a grade A douche. Thinking he’s so high and mighty that he can’t make one delivery a MONTH. Finally this guy can leave his basement for once
You WITCH
I read this a while back and found it hilarious. Software engineers are by no means corporate and secondly media has no fucking clue how hard engineering is - it's not mindless delivery of food, some of us have gone to college and even have advanced degrees. Not saying food delivery is to be looked down upon but the reason why we chose this field especially a white collar one is to avoid doing things like this. Doordash mass attrition coming soon!
Man yall are so clueless.. its to help you better understand your product
There should be a separate team concerned with user experience for this. This should be a process not some randomly cooked up policy. The way I see it Doordash is doing this to cut costs.
This policy is a waste of time and resources for the large majority of employees. Do you really think delivering food is going improve a doordash infra engineers ability to tackle their day to day infra challenges? If anything, this policy should only apply to people who actually influence product directions like senior leadership and PMs.
This guy lives rent free in DoorDash exec’s heads

Eat your own dogfood to deliver someone else's dog food..
