Bloomberg -- "good" team to join? or "avoid"?
I see a lot of data points about BBG. Some say all the good possible things, some say run away ASAP. I'm curious, what are the "good" teams to join, and what are the teams to avoid, if you have experiences there or know anyone from BBG? Please share :) TC 170k YOE 5

Figure out the team's tech stack. If it's not Fortran or C++, that's a promising start. Most of the teams in those languages should be avoided.

Many of its services aren't written in C++. Python and Java Terminal services/infra teams generally are significantly better. Not sure what the Terminal JavaScript environment is like.
Avoid any team in the ENG org.
Can you describe more for the outsiders please?
