Bloomberg Interview, Prospects, and Salary Negotiation
Hey ! I am a new grad interviewing for Bloomberg London. I am also interviewing for Google London. 1) I cleared two tech rounds and have my "system architecture" round with a senior software engineer. I wanna know what kind of questions will be asked and what kind of prep is required. 2) Given that I clear that round, there is gonna be a HR round afaik. Do I leverage my Google interview and try to negotiate salary and if so when is the right time to do it ? 3) I am still not sure if I wanna go into software companies only and might want to venture to hedge funds / trading firms as well. To your second question, I would encourage you not to disclose your expectation or competing offer at this stage. This will set you up for success during the later negotiation stage. Feel free to DM if you want more negotiation tips.
