I am a new grad. BB is paying ~£25k more per year than MS, after tax. I just feel like MS will open more doors in the future and enable even more pay, hence why I'm leaning towards them. Is my thinking too old-school? Dublin and London have similar COL btw. EDIT: I am a British citizen, no need for visas Gross: BB TC is roughly £85k, MS TC is roughly £60k
TC?

Do you need work visa?
no
Dublin has the same rent for shutter flats than London. CoL/salary is much worse there. I'd go to Bloomberg, get a British visa, and then change to some UK tech company if you don't like banks and shit.
You will need to a new working visa every time you change job in the UK
Why you want British visa when you can get EU visa?
msft is a better company but I'll choose London just for quality of life and more future opportunities.
TC or GTFO

What are the offers?

Wow didn’t know MS TC was that low
Their offers are low across Europe. Lower than even banks.
Yes, not exactly sure why….
I don't know anything about BB, but I would go with London over Dublin for future opportunities. London had better opportunities and I am guessing that on average pay is more except maybe at Amazon
But why does it matter where I work? I have a British passport.
Does the physical proximity help with opportunities ?
Thank you very much for sharing.
😂
Poor kid! Let him live
Why laughing emoji lol?
